I’m the new guy, just learning the ropes. Everyone is very helpful, my desk partner Elizabeth is right there, it’s helpful to just turn to her and ask a question. There is a laidback atmosphere here that gives me the time I need to get my work done. Not a lot of interruptions. Great variety here, at my previous job I was mostly doing fabric tensioning and foundations.

Outside of work: I put on my 6mm wetsuit and surf until Lake Michigan freezes over. I come out of the water with ice in my hair and moustache. When I got hired here I already had a surfing trip planned to Morocco, Indonesia and Australia, and I was able to get a three-month sabbatical to go.
