Hotels best represent our engineering expertise, both for new construction and complex renovation, no matter how many “keys” are involved.

Hotel projects “east of the Mississippi” in Atlanta, Chicago, Indianapolis, Miami, Providence, and Washington, D.C. include Classic’s structural and mechanical engineering expertise. We even serve as the owner’s representative for engineering design peer review. There is an architecture firm in Chicago that hires us for their hotel work because we can do the project more efficiently and less expensively than the firm’s own engineers.

Health care facilities, including the new Spectrum Health outpatient center in Ada, Michigan, and the renovation of the Priority Health buildings in Grand Rapids Township represent our range of capabilities. We are frequently called upon to work on professional medical offices. Churches, civil and government buildings, and commercial facilities include Classic Engineering design. We are also engaged to work on the growing number of senior housing and independent living facilities for an aging population.

Classic Engineering design work can be found in colleges and universities for student housing, and we also work on multi-family housing units. Over the years Classic Engineering has been engaged on a number of food processing and pharmaceutical-related projects. Our design work can be found in Request Foods, Nestle Waters, Michigan Turkey Producers and Perrigo to name a few.
